A HUGE thankyou to everyone involved and everyone who attended L!ve Hard and Heavy II at L!ive on Light Square Saturday night.  The crowd was huge and the bands didn't disappoint.

Quite recently we have been working on several new songs and recording a few personal demos to critique and fine tune song structure/layers etc. 

Expect to hear new songs played live in the coming months as we creep forward to a (hopefully in 2010) full length album release.

Last Saturday night Octanic contested one of the semi finals for the Adelaide leg of the Emergenza battle of the bands competition and at the end of the night it was revealed that we were one of the 4 bands to make it through to the regional final to be held on the 5th of December!

Thanks to all who attended, we appreciate your support and friendship and hope to see you at our upcoming show with LORD at Fowlers Live on October 18th and the Emergenza Adelaide final in December.  

It's been a long process.  Anyone who has checked out www.octanic.com in the past would have seen a 'coming soon' page for the entire time Octanic has been formed.  Well, who cares, it's here now!

It gives us more flexability as far as content than myspace and we'll be trying to update it with all sorts of stuff that we accumulate along the way in terms of live material.
