OCTANIC are a 6-piece metal band from Adelaide, Australia who seamlessly fuse together elements of NWOAHM, modern metal and hard rock, laced with classical and orchestral undertones. This combination gives OCTANIC the aggressiveness, punch and intensity of metal with the melodic and epic sounds of a movie score, engaging and captivating audiences everywhere. OCTANIC’s addictive blend of majestic keyboards, bone-crunching rhythms and soaring lead solos, coupled with passionate vocals and compelling lyrics have endeared OCTANIC to a great many fans. Progress of the new material is going well even with the amicable departure of original rhythm guitarist Stephen Wardle and drummer Dean Cullinan in June 2010.
